Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I can’t say enough good things about Josh, Jacob, and the team. From the beginning, they were professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about helping us through the process.

Jacob did an excellent job communicating and the roofing work itself was done quickly and with great attention to detail. The whole experience felt honest and personal, not just transactional.

What impacted me most, though, was the heart behind this company. In the midst of a challenging season for our family, there was a misunderstanding on my part regarding payment and scheduling. Instead of responding with frustration, Josh responded with incredible kindness, prayed about it, and chose to bless our family in a way we will never forget!

Their work is excellent, but even more than that, they lead with integrity, compassion, and generosity. It’s rare to find people who care this deeply about serving others well.

We are incredibly grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone needing roofing work done!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Worked with them in February on replacing a roof that was losing granules and had a couple spots binding up showing signs it need replaced in the next year. Were able to work with them on pricing to match comparable quotes. Were quick to mobilize once I wrote a check.

Install took less than a day, covered yard well (only have found one or two nails in the driveway by where the disposal trailer was) Repaired/re-caulked a couple spots inside without even asking (one was a stray nail shoot into drywall ceiling and others were probably cosmetic prior from settling).

Followed back up with any concerns, made sure malarkey warranty paperwork was completed and delivered.

It was very easy to set up an appointment online, and I received emails and texts confirming the appointment. Polite and friendly, and I was sent before and after pictures of the roof work they did! 10/10!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our salesman, Andrew Garay, and his crew, did a great job with our roof replacement. We have know Andrew for many years from our association with our children’s school, Faith West Academy. Coach Garay spent many years helping young people mature. We highly recommend Andrew for your next roofing project.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Andrew was my point of contact for this whole deal and I’m so glad I got him! Down to earth type of guy and very easy to communicate with. Their entire process was very easy to follow and the pricing was very upfront. They definitely give off a local company looking to provide for their community. Installation day was seamless, guys showed up and immediately got to work. Roof and the vents they installed looked great!

These guys will go above and beyond for you if needed and that will always be appreciated by this guy!

I would 100% recommend RTU to anyone looking to get ANYTHING roof related looked at!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. RTU arrived on schedule to perform our roof inspection, tune-up and installation of a solar roof vent. Took about 6 hours and everything on the proposal was completed. They removed all of the debris from around the house and provided pictures of the improvements.
This is a professional group whose focus is to make sure their customers understand the project and then deliver on the agreed terms.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Selecting Roofing Technologies Unlimited for a roof repair in my home was an excellent decision. We found them Chat GPT when searching for a reputable roofing company that had favorable reviews. They recently completed the repairs and I want to recommend them as a company that not only does excellent work, but also as a company of great people of integrity.

When Joshua came over to give us an estimate on the job, he immediately inspired confidence and trust that he knew what he was doing, could get the job done, and that he would do what he said. When we didn't know where to start, he took care of lining up everything that needed to be done. This was such a huge help to us.

Character and trustworthiness are important to me, and I found these qualities in everyone I met in this company. Everyone was courteous and responded to all questions and requests in a timely manner. The repairs were done with professionalism and workmanship beyond my expectations. I recommend you consider them at the top of your list next time you need a new roof or any roof-related repairs.

If you’ve lived in Katy for more than a few storm seasons, you already know how unpredictable our weather can be. From late spring hail to Gulf-fed windstorms in the fall, roofing problems here are rarely small and never convenient. A recent job off Fry Road in Pine Lakes reminded me of that, the homeowner called in a panic after a loud overnight storm left shingles scattered across their yard and water dripping into the nursery. We had a crew out the same morning. That’s the kind of call we treat like a priority; because it is. Roofing Technologies Unlimited has been serving Katy families and businesses for over five years, and we know what it takes to protect homes here from what’s coming next.

Services We Offer in Katy

We’re a trusted roofing contractor in Katy with experience across just about every type of residential and commercial roofing system. We’ve handled everything from sudden storm repairs to full replacements in tight HOA neighborhoods. Below are a few of the core services we provide in this area:

Roof Repair & Emergency Help

Storm damage and leaks are among the most common reasons we get called out in Katy. We handle:

Leaky roof repairs
Hail and wind damage restoration
Emergency tarping and next-day follow-up
Insurance documentation for storm-related claims

Whether it’s a small leak around a skylight or major shingle loss after a windstorm, we move fast to minimize damage.

Full Roof Replacement

Most of the homes in Cinco Ranch and Westgreen were built between the mid-1990s and early 2010s, and many are now due for complete replacements. We install:

Architectural asphalt shingles
Cedar shake and synthetic shake
Slate and tile roofing
TPO, PVC, and EPDM flat roof systems for low-slope sections

We’re often called by homeowners facing confusing inspections or unsure about timing. We walk them through every option, materials, pricing, warranties, and HOA guidelines, without pressure.

Commercial Roofing in Katy

We’ve completed flat roof systems and coating projects for strip centers off Mason Road and industrial buildings near Katy Mills. Our commercial services include:

Built-up roofing (BUR) and modified bitumen
TPO and PVC flat roof installation
Leak detection and repair
Annual roof maintenance plans

Commercial clients don’t have time for guesswork. They want clear numbers, realistic timelines, and someone who actually shows up.

Roof Inspections & Maintenance

We provide professional roof inspections before home sales, after storms, and for general peace of mind. We also offer seasonal maintenance plans for homeowners in neighborhoods like Elyson and Falcon Ranch, especially important in areas with mature trees and past hail exposure.

Common Roof Issues in Katy

Much of Katy’s growth took off in the early 2000s with subdivisions like Grand Lakes, Nottingham Country, and parts of Cinco Ranch featuring 3,000 sq ft brick and stucco homes. These homes typically have hip or gable-style roofs with valleys and dormers that require precision during installs and repairs. Katy’s clay-heavy soil doesn’t affect roofing directly, but the humid Gulf climate and frequent thermal expansion do.

Because of this weather, roofs in Katy often suffer from:

Heat blistering and shingle warping
Hail divots and granule loss
Gutter clogs due to sudden downpours
Flashing wear around chimneys and vents

In neighborhoods with HOA restrictions, we always ensure replacements match architectural guidelines, down to the shingle color.

Why Katy Homeowners Choose Us

We’ve worked with homeowners in West Memorial dealing with insurance adjusters, helped a retired couple in Kelliwood decide between repair and full replacement, and handled after-hours tarping for a family in Park Row with water coming through a bedroom ceiling. We know what’s at stake for Katy families.

Roofing Technologies Unlimited is fully insured, always uses clean-up magnets to collect nails, and backs our labor with a written warranty. To make things even easier, we’ve added a Google Map at the bottom of this page showing directions from Katy to our office.

We’ve helped a lot of Katy families through messy roof problems, and we’re always ready when it’s your turn.
